Double XP week ends Thursday!
Remember to take advantage while you can, it only lasts through Wednesday. By the way, some of you have asked so I wanted to clarify — the multiplier is not applied at the end of a race so you won’t see it there, but when you get back to the ModSpot and check your stats you’ll see that you’re getting Double XP. Enjoy!

ModNation Racers Dynamic Theme available on PSN
For those who can’t get enough ModNation Racers, the Dynamic Theme is available on the PSN for $2.99 putting you right on the racetrack.
Blind-Rush says: “Forgotten Ruins Mountain is a former battle zone of a war held by three civilizations; desert, jungle and alpine civilizations. After the war, all was left in ruins making one of the best tracks in the ModNation world. To make this track, I used props from three themes, the ones mentioned earlier. I took advantage of this feature to make various passages, each one with a different theme.”
Past - Port Royal was once home to privateers, it was notorious for its gaudy displays of wealth and loose morals. When governments abandoned the practice of issuing letters of marque against the Spanish treasure fleets, many privateers turned pirate and used the city as their main base during the heyday of the Caribbean pirates in the 17th century. Pirates from around the world congregated at Port Royal and the island was heavily featured in the Pirates of the Caribbean films.

Present - Today the area is a shadow of its former self with a population of less than 2,000. Much of the original island is now underwater from several past Earthquakes. In in the early 1960s plans to develop the town as a cruise ship port and destination led to the suspension of development solely as a port but now possibly including archaeological and other attractions. The Jamaican government recently teamed up with a group of developers and has plans to return Port Royal to it's formal glory as an International Resort.

Future - It is the year 2014, and Port Royal Resort is open for the first time. Featuring many large and luxurious Hotels, a massive waterpark, historical museums, a recently recovered pirate ship from the late 1600s, and the Ruins of old Fort Charles, there are thousands flocking to the island. To increase interest the Jamaican government teamed up with MRC officials to host an opening day MRC race. The best racers are coming from all over the globe for the chance to compete and walk away Champion of this internationally televised event.

Designed for Pro or Elite speeds, this is a long track with lots of boost pads making it a very fast track. 6 different alternate path options give racers incredible freedom. Several jumps can be found, and one double jump. Race through the waterpark, the vineyard, the ruins still being uncovered, the Cruise docks, old Fort Charles, behind the museum, and along the boardwalk. You can race 3 laps and never take the same path twice. Lots to see, and lots to run into so be on your game.

I have an older PS3 and just got a new slim today. The other one has been giving me problems, so I figured it might be failing soon. I've used the Data Transfer Utility to copy my data to the new slim, but I can't access my created and downloaded content in ModNation Racers. The lists are simply blank. Is it possible to get the data copied over? I've seen several other posts of this case on the internet but no one has responded with a possible solution.

Edit: I've been thinking, this is probably to protect someone's identity if you were to, say, somehow get their PSN and password and tried to impersonate them by playing as their unpublished mod/kart(s). In that case, I'll have to re-download all of the content again. All 118 mods, 87 karts, and 130 tracks. It's going to be a long process.
